Editorial Standards
The sourcing, verification, disclosure, and authorship standards used by LatestDeFiNews.
Accuracy and sourcing
We aim to distinguish confirmed facts from analysis, estimates, and forward-looking claims. Reporting based on an announcement, filing, research note, public statement, or another publication should link to the underlying source whenever it is available.
Material figures, dates, names, and quotations should be checked against the cited source before publication. Anonymous or unverifiable claims should not be presented as established fact.
Automation and AI assistance
LatestDeFiNews may use automated systems to collect source material, organize drafts, or create supporting imagery. A system-generated fallback draft is never eligible for automatic publication and must remain unpublished until it is reviewed and completed.
Automation must not fabricate sources, quotations, credentials, first-hand experience, or certainty that the available evidence does not support.
Authorship and conflicts
Articles carry the byline of the author responsible for that work. Promotional relationships, sponsorships, or material conflicts should be disclosed where they could affect a reader’s understanding of the coverage.
News coverage, analysis, and sponsored material should be labeled in a way that does not mislead readers about their purpose.
